Lutterworth Town Hall has a Civil Wedding Licence and we welcome you to come and inspect our facilities.

The venue

The Hansom Room on the upper floor is a light and open room providing the ideal venue for you and your guests. Up to 90 guests can be comfortably accommodated in the Hansom Room. The facilities of the Denbigh Room on the ground floor are used for meeting with the Registrar.

On the day

You will arrive outside the main entrance of the Town Hall and be given private access to the Denbigh Room. Here you will meet the Registrar. Your guests will arrive through a separate entrance and be seated upstairs in the Hansom Room. Here, your guests await the Bride’s arrival via a private and separate staircase.

Wedding reception

The Town Hall can also be used after the service for your wedding reception or evening celebrations. As we prepare the room for your reception or evening celebration we are pleased to offer you the services of the Greyhound Coaching Inn and Hotel.

The Greyhound Coaching Inn

Situated opposite the Town Hall, you and your guests can enjoy your pre-wedding drinks and canapes, post-ceremony drinks, and catering. Facilities are also available for you to change and freshen up. Should you decide not to use the Town Hall for your wedding reception and/or evening celebrations, the Greyhound can also provide you with wedding services including:

  • Wedding reception in the Restaurant or first floor Christina Room
  • Overnight accommodation for you and your guests including a Bridal Suite
  • Evening reception and party
