Facilities at Lutterworth Town Hall
The facilities at Lutterworth Town Hall comprise 2 floors connected by 2 staircases and a lift that can accommodate wheelchairs. Entry to the Town Hall from the adjacent car park is through twin double doors wide enough to take wheelchairs.
The Hansom Room on the Upper Floor has one of the best dance floors in Leicestershire.
We have two rooms available, The Denbigh Room on the ground floor, and the Hansom Room on the upper floor. We provide tables and chairs, heating, catering, licensed bar, cleaning and maintenance. The Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s toilets are accessed from the foyer and both have disabled facilities.
Ground Floor – The Denbigh Room
The spacious foyer leads to the meeting room – the DENBIGH ROOM – which can hold around 20 to 30 people seated at tables or up to 50 people standing.
Access to the small kitchenette comes as part of any hire, providing basic facilities including a kettle, crockery and cutlery.
Upper Floor – The Hansom Room
The Upper floor – the HANSOM ROOM – is a spacious and elegant hall with a minstrels gallery/Juliet balcony. The hall has a wooden sprung floor (possibly one of the best in Leicestershire) and is ideal for dancing. The hall has recently been completely redecorated in a colour scheme of the Regency period. Curtains at the large windows can be fully drawn if required.
The hall is approximately 15m long and 10m wide can accommodate over 100 people standing and smaller numbers seating, depending on the configuration and use of tables.
Heating
The Town Hall has effective central heating to keep it nice and warm in the winter months. In the summer, there are 2 ceiling mounted fans which when coupled with open windows, creates a comfortable breeze.
The Town Hall is fully licensed, and we are able to provide catering to meet a wide range of requirements from teas/coffees/buffet lunches through to formal meals /receptions with bar facilities. We are also avaialble for external catering – please drop us a message with any requirements and we would be happy to provide you with a quotation.
There is ample car parking very close to the Town Hall. There is a small car park in the market square adjacent to the Town Hall, and a larger car park called ‘Station Road Car Park’ a short 30 second walk away. These are owned and operated by the Harborough District Council, please check signage for pricing.
